ICC WT20 : Dirk Nannes becomes the highest wicket taker in T20 games

DP Nannes with his three wickets in the game between Australia and India at Bridgetown on 07.05.10 became the highest wicket taker in T20 games. At the end of this game his aggregate of T20 wickets stood at 94. His 94 wickets have come from 65 matches, 64 innings. He has bowled 243 overs which includes three non overs. His 94 wickets have cost him 1662 runs at an average of 17.68 runs per wicket. He has taken four or more wickets on five occasions. His best bowling figures was 4 for 11.

Umar Gul {07} and DP Nannes {05} are the two bowlers in the history of T20 games to capture four or more wickets on five plus occasions

DP Nannes represented Australia, Delhi Daredevils, Middlesex, Netherlands and Victoria in T20 games

He wrested the record from JA Morkel of South Afirca who had a tally of 93 wickets. JA Morkel’s 93 wickets have come from 110 matches and 103 innings. He has bowled 318.5 overs of which four were non overs. His 93 wickets have cost him 2563 runs at an average of 27.55 runs per wicket. He has taken four wickets in an innings on two occasions. His best figures were 4 for 30
