Amol Muzumdar – Highest Run getter in Ranji Trophy – by Sri C Keshavamurthy
Amol Mazumdar became the first batsman to complete 8000 runs in the history of Ranji Trophy when on 25 during his innings of 79 for Assam in the 2nd innings against Railways in November 2010. He had represented Mumbai in 109 matches till 2009/10. He represented Assam from 2010-11. He has played 13 matches for Assam. As on 14.12.10 he has an aggregate of 8224 runs from 122 matches.
