IPL 5 – Match No 11 – Delhi posts a comprehensive victory over Chennai

Match No 11 –  Delhi Daredevils vs. Chennai Super Kings at Delhi on 10.04.11 – Delhi won by eight wickets

 

There were four run outs in Chennai’s innings – M Vijay, SK Raina, S Badrinath and R Ashwin were the batsmen who were dismissed run out. Four run outs in this innings provide the second occasion of four or more batsmen run out in an innings in IPL. The first such occasions was witnessed when five Mumbai batsmen were run out against Punjab at Mumbai on 21.05.08. 

 

M Vijay was dismissed with out facing a delivery providing the 18th occasion of a batsmen dismissed run out for a duck without facing a delivery in IPL. All the 18 occasions are listed below
