West Indies posted 449 for 9 in its first innings at Bridgetown against Australia in the first test of the ongoing test series of 2011-12 and lost the test as Australia posted a three wickets win. This provides the 38th occasion of a team losing a test after posting 400 plus run in the first innings of the test. As far West Indies is concerned, it is the fourth loss under this category of statistics
