CH Gayle became the first batsman in the history of IPL to score 100 sixes. He scored two s sixes in the game against Deccan Chargers at Bangalore on 06.05.12 to take his tally of 101 sixes. He scored a six of A Mishra and a six of Anand Rajan in this game. The six of A Mishra gave him the distinction of becoming the first batsman in the history of IPL. He achieved the feat when he scored the first six of his two sixes in the game against Deccan Chargers at Bangalore on 06.05.12.
