Mithali Raj of India became the second woman batsman to total 5000 one day runs in the history of women one day internationals.  She reached the land mark when she was on  52 during her knock of 81 not out against New Zealand woman at Bangalore on 06.07.15. The other batswoman to achieve this feat is CM Edwards of England who has an aggregate of 5829 runs.  The performance of Mithali Raj against each opposition as of today read thus

CH Gayle scored 90 not out representing Jamaica Tallawahas against St Kitts and Zouks at Gros Islet on 28.06.15 in the Caribbean Premier League 2015 to register his 50th half century in Twenty20 games. He now owns the record for becoming the first batsman to score 50 half centuries. He followed his 50th fifty with one more half century by scoring 72 not out against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Basseterre on 30.06.15 which gave him his 51st half century.  All his half centuries are listed below.

Batsmen collecting the first ball duck on six or more occasions in a test innings – KC Sangakkara gets added to the list

KC Sangakkara  collected the first  ball duck in Sri Lanka’s second innings against Pakistan at Col-PSS in the just concluded second test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. His first ball duck in this innings represent his sixth first ball duck of his test career. He became the 22nd batsman to collect the first ball duck on six or more occasions.
