CH Gayle posts his sixteenth Twenty20 hundred

Chris Gayle scored his 16th Twenty20 hundred when he scored 105 representing Jamaica Tallawahs against Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel at Kingson on 09.07.15 in Caribbean Premier League. The match is still in progress at the time of posting this article. Jamaica Talllawahs has socred 180 for six in its twenty overs. All the sixteen hundreds scored by CH Gayle are listed below. It was his first Twenty20 hundred in front of his  home crowd and second in the Caribbean Premier League

MG Johnson of Australia returned with figure of none for 111 in England’s  first innings in the ongoing first test between England and Australia at Cardiff to provide the 16th occasion of a bowler conceding “Nelson”  runs without a wicket in a test innings in the annals of test cricket. JE Root became the second England batsman to score five or more hundreds at home while batting at number five after IR Bell. J Root’a 134 against Australia in the ongoing first test at Cardiff was his fifth hundred while batting at number five. IR Bell has six hundreds to his credit while batting at number five at home. Indian women registered a facile nine wickets win in the fifth one day international against New Zealand at Bangalore on 08.06.15 to provide the 14th occasion of India women winning a one day game by nine or more wickets margin. It also provides the seventh occasion of India women winning a one day game by exact nine wickets margin.

India women’s win by nine wickets in this game provide the second win by exact nine wickets against New Zealand women. India women had won by nine wickets against New Zealand by nine wikets at Aurangabad on 07.12.09

CH Gayle become the first batsman to total 8000 plus runs in Twenty20 games

CH Gayle became the first batsman in the history of Twenty20 games to total 8000 plus runs. He had an aggregate of 7973 runs prior to the game between  Jamaica Tallawahs and St Lucia Zouks at Kingston on 07.07.2015 in the Caribbean Premier League. He reached the landmark when he was on 27 during his knock of 64 not out in this game. At the end of this game, his run aggregate read 8037 which earned him the record of becoming the first batsman ever to score 8000 plus runs in the history of Twenty20 games. His 64 not out was his 67th fifty which includes 52 half centuries. His performance season wise is listed below
