10th Match, First Round Group B: Hong Kong v Scotland at Nagpur – Mar 12, 2016 – Hong Kong 127/7 (20/20 ov); Scotland 78/2 (8/10 ov, target: 76) – Scotland won by 8 wickets (with 12 balls remaining) (D/L method)

GT Main became the first bowler in WT20 to capture a wicket off the first ball he bowled on his WT20 debut. He bowled only one over in this game to return with figures of 1.0-0-13-1. He claimed the wicket of RJ Campbell whom he bowled for a duck.

Tanwir Afzal was dismissed for a duck in this game to provide the 16th occasion of a captain dismissed for a duck in WT20. He was dismissed run out for a duck to provide the third occasion of a captain dismissed run out for a duck in WT20. Other two captains are – DL Vettori of New Zealand against Pakistan at Cape Town on 22.09.07 and Shahid Afridi of Pakistan against England at Bridgetown on 06.05.10.

This was the first six over game in all the editions of WT20. Netherlands won by 12 runs.

TLW Cooper failed to open his account to provide the 68th occasion of an opening batsman scoring a duck in WT20 and the fourth such occasion by Netherlands batsmen in WT20.
