KD Karthik became the fourth cricketer to appear in 150 plus games in the Indian Premier Leauge. The game between Sunrisers and Mumbai Indians at Hyd-RGS on 08.05.17 was KD Karthik’s 150th game in IPL. Other cricketers who have played 150 plus IPL games are – SK Raina {159}. DA Warner performed an unique feat in the history of Indian Premier League. He became the first batsman in the history of the league to aggregate 500 plus runs in four consecutive editions – 528 in 2014, 562 in 2015, 848 in 2016 and 535 in the ongoing edition of IPL 2017. He went past CH Gayle  who had scored 500 plus runs in three consecutive editions – 608 in 2011, 733 in 2012 and 708 in 2013. The performance of these two batsmen are detailed below

He has aggregated 500 plus runs in four editions of IPL – 848 in 2016, 562 in 2015, 535 in 2017 and 528 in 2014,  He became the second batsman in the history of IPL to score 500 plus runs in four edition of IPL after V Kohli. SL Malinga became the first bowler in the history of Indian Premier League to capture 150 wickets. He achieved the  milestone in the game between Mumbai and Delhi at Delhi on 06.05.17. His 150th victim was SS Iyer whom he had caught by Harbhajan Singh for 3. He returned with figures of 2 for 7. His wicket aggregate at the end of this game read 151. It is interesting to note that SL Malinga has represented a single team in the Indian Premier League – Mumbai Indians.

SL Malinga is one of the two bowlers who have captured 300 plus wickets in the history of Twenty20 games after DJ Bravo. He has captured 319 wickets, whlle DJ Bravo has captured 367 wickets. Stats as at the end of 07.05.17
