R Ashwin of India completed 2000 runs in his test career when he was o  50 during his knock of 54    against Sri Lanka in the ongoing test at  Col-SSC.  At the end of India’s first innings in this test,  R Ashwin’s run aggregate read 2004. He had a tally of 279 wickets. He became the 15^th all round cricketer in the annals of test cricket to score 2000 runs and capture 250 wickets.
