CA Pujara {133}, AM Rahane {132}, R Ashwin {54}, WP Saha {67} and RA Jadeja {70 not out} – scored fifty plus scores in India’s innings against Sri Lanka at Col-SSC in the ongoing test to provide the 37^th occasion of six or more batsmen scoring  fifties  in  a test innings in the annals of test cricket. All such occasions are tabulated below. By a  coincidence, these  two occasions are by Indian batsmen.
