India own the record for posting most three figure partnerships against Sri Lanka

India had posted 61 three figure partnerships for various wickets against Sri Lanka prior to the start of the Delhi Test. Two more such partnership would give India 63 three figure partnerships for various wickets. India posted 283 runs for the third wicket between M Vijay and V Kohli and 135 runs for the fifth wicket between V Kohli and RG Shrma which fetched India its 63rd three figure partnership against Sri Lanka. India now owns the record for posting most three figure partnerships against Sri Lanka .India went past which Pakistan had posted 62 three figure partnerships for various wickets against Sri Lanka.
