Karnataka Premier League witnessed its second abandoned game with the abandonment of this game. The first such occasion was witnessed when the match between Bellary Tuskers and Namma Shivamogga played at Mysore on 05.09.17 was abandoned without a ball being bowled

 JE Root of England was dismissed for a score of 13 – a number considered as an inauspicious number in cricketing circles in all the countries except Australia – in the fourth innings of the just concluded test against India to provide the 44th occasion of England captain scoring 13 runs in an innings. KL Rahul of India took seven catches at the end of the fourth day of the ongoing test against England at Nottingham to provide the eighth occasion of a fieldsman other than the wicketkeeper to take seven or more catches in a test.  All such occasions are tabulated below
