Prior to this he had scored 72 in the second test at Southampton on 13 Aug 2020. He became the fifth Pakistan wicket keeper batsman to score fifties on two occasions against England. Others are – Imtiaz Ahmed, Kamran Akmal, Moin Khan and Rashid Latif.

Mohammad Rizwan scored 53 in Pakistan’s innings to provide the second occasion of his scoring a fifty against England in England as Pakistan wicket keeper batsman. Prior to this he had scored 72 in the second test at Southampton on 13 Aug 2020. He became the second Pakistan wicket keeper batsman to score fifties on two occasions against England in England. Other wicket keeper is Rashid Latif.

Azhar Ali and Mohammad Rizwan posted 138 runs partnership in Pakistan’s innings to provide the 75th occasion of Pakistan batsmen posting a three figure partnership against England. It also provides the 42nd occasion of Pakistan batsmen posting a three figure partnership against England in England.
