JM Anderson of England became the first medium pace bowler to capture 600 test wickets in the history of test cricket. His 600th victim was Pakistan captain Azhar Ali whom he had caught by JE Root for 31 in Pakistan’s second innings in the just concluded third test against Pakistan at Southhampton.
