Indian bowlers AR Patel {5 for 48} and R Ashwin {5 for 47} shared the England’s second innings wickets equally to provide the 55th occasion of two bowlers sharing the wickets equally in a test innings in the annals of test cricket. It also provides the 18th occasion of two bowlers sharing the wickets equally in a test innings against England. It also provides the sixth occasion of two Indian bowlers sharing the wickets equally in a test innings against England All such occasions are tabulated below

The first such occasion was credited to Australian bowlers – TBA May {5 for 085} and SK Warne {5 for 082} at Birmingham on 05 Aug 1993. It also provides the first occasion of two Indian bowlers sharing the wickets equally in a test innings against England. Both such occasions are tabulated below
