Some more stats on the fourth test between India and England at Ahmadabad

At the end of the fourth test against England at Ahmadabad, V Kohli and MS Dhoni share the record for leading India on most occasions. Both have led India on 60 occasions.

They also share the record for leading India on most occasions on home soil and away soil. Both have led India on 30 occasions on home soil and also on away soil.

V Kohli scored a duck against England at Ahmadabad which provided his eighth duck while leading India. He now shares the record for most ducks by an Indian captain with MS Dhoni.

V Kohli became the sixth captain to score eight or more ducks in a test innings. Others are – SP Fleming {13}, GC Smith {10}, MA Atherton {08}, WJ Cronje {08} and MS Dhoni {08}.

V Kohli scored a duck against England at Ahmadabad which provided his fifth duck while leading India on home soil. He now shares the record for most ducks while leading India on home soil with MAK Pataudi.

GS Chappell {06}, SP Fleming {06}, AR Border {05}, GC Smith {05} are the other captains to socre five or more ducks while leading their respective teams on home soil. V Kohli became the sixth captain to score five or more ducks on home soil.
