The final days play in the Nottingham test was abandoned to provide the 14th occasion of a day’s play abandoned in England-India test series. It also provided the eleventh such occasion on England soil and the third such occasion on Indian soil.

It also provides the seventh occasion on the fifth day of the test in England-India test series. It also provides the fifth such occasion on English soil and also provides the second occasion of the fifth day’s play on Indian soil. All such occasions are tabulated below
