V Kohli completed 2000 runs against Australia when he was on seven during the course of his knock of 44 not out at the end of the fourth day’s play in the third innings of this test {India’s second innings}. At the end of the fourth day’s play, his run aggregate against Australia read 2037. He became the fifth Indian batsman to total 2000 plus runs against Australia.
