V Kohli was playing his 50th T20I and became the 52nd cricketer to play 50 plus T20Is in the history of T20Is. He also became the fifth Indian cricketer to play 50 T20Is. Others are – MS Dhoni {78}, SK Raina {65}, RG Sharma {63} and Yuvraj Singh {58}

 

V Kohli run aggregate while batting second in a T20I match read 1016. He completed 1000 runs when he was on 76 during his knock of 82 in this game. He became the second batsman in the history of T20Is to score 1000 runs while batting second. BB McCullum of New Zealand is the other batsman with 1006 runs to his credit

It is interesting to note that two such games of less than ten overs involved Mysuru Warriors.  The first such game was against Belagavi Panthers at Hubaali on 09.09.15 which was ten overs game. Mysuru Warriors lost this game by 21 runs under VJD Method.
