Rahul Dravid’s century partnerships with four batsmen – a world record
Rahul Dravid owns the record
for most century partnerships –

yet another world record attributed to India’s greatest batsman at number
three. He is the only batsman in the annals of test cricket to partner ten or more
century partnerships with four batsmen. He has partnered twenty century partnerships
with SR Tendulkar, twelve with VVS Laxman,
ten each with SC Ganguly and V Sehwag. The following table lists the

Of the captioned 32 batsmen, five of them have scored centuries and three of them were dismissed in nineties. The following table lists them.
It is interesting to note that
MJ Prior is the only wicket keeper batsman to score a century on his test
debut at Lord’s. SC Ganguly’s 131 against England in Jun 1996 represents
the highest individual innings by a batsman on test debut at Lord’s.

SC Ganguly scored 131 and R
Dravid scored 95 at Lord’s on their test debut against England in June 1996 to
provide the second occasion of a batsman scoring a century and another batsman scoring a ninety on their test debut
in the annals of test cricket. The first such occasion was witnessed at Karachi
when Pakistan batsmen Khalid Ibadulla {166} and Abdul Kadir {95} scored century
and ninety on their test debut against Australia in Oct 1964.
