APPROACHING MILESTONES AHEAD OF THE FINALS BETWEEN ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE AND SUNRISERS HYDERABAD AT BANGALORE ON 29.05.16

Chris Gayle is on the threshold of creating three new records in Twenty20 games. He has an aggregate of 8990 runs prior to the start of this game. He needs 10 more runs for 9000 runs in Twenty20 games. If he gets these  runs, he would then become the first batsman ever in the history of Twenty20 games to total 9000 runs.

Another record he is eyeing in T20 games is most boundary fours. He has scored 695 boundary fours and require five more which would fetch him 700 boundary fours. If he gets them, he would then become the first batsmen ever to score 700 boundary fours.

He has already scored 650 boundary sixes in T20 games. If he gets 700 boundary fours, he would then become the only batsman in the history of T20 games to score 700 boundary fours and 650 boundary sixes.

V Kohli has scored 597 boundary fours and 198 boundary sixes in Twenty20 games as on date. He requires three more boundary fours and two more boundary sixes which would fetch him 600 boundary fours and 200 boundary sixes. If he gets them, he would then become the fifth batsman in the history of Twenty20 games to score 600 boundary fours and 200 boundary sixes. Others who have achieved the feat are – CH Gayle, DA Warner, BJ Hodge and BB McCullum. The exploits of these four batsmen along with V Kohli are furnished below
